Do you use Australian ingredients?
We proudly support and have partnered with Aussie farmers and growers for all our fruit, grains, and flours. Whilst we choose to source locally as a priority, some of our ingredients are sourced carefully overseas.
Once baked, how long do the products last?
We are proud to say we don’t use nasties in our treats, we only use real food ingredients. So once baked, I'm best kept in an airtight container and eaten within 3 days (but I rarely last that long).
How long do the mixes last?
Our mixes last for 12 months, but make sure to keep them unopened, in a cool and dry place in your pantry.
What if I don’t have mini muffin tins?
Not to worry! You can use standard muffin tins.
Can I use coconut oil instead of vegetable oil?
Sorry, no. Coconut oil hardens, so best to use vegetable oil or olive oil.
My batter seems thicker than usual, why is this?
That's because we only use real ingredients (don't cha know?), so seasonality can have an impact on the ingredients.
We suggest adding another 1-2 tablespoons of water to the mix to make them super light and fluffy!
My freeze dried fruit powder has gone hard and clumpy, is this normal?
Yes, it is. Breaking up the clumps with a fork will make it easier to mix in. Baked clumps of fruit will result in a burst of fruit flavour!
My cookie mixture looks dry and crumbly, is this normal?
Please follow the directions as stated on the box. The cookie mixture will become sticky when all the ingredients have been combined thoroughly.
Why are my muesli cookies not crunchy?
Our Muesli cookies have been designed to be slightly soft, not crunchy.
My cookies don’t looked cooked?
When the muesli cookie is fresh from the oven it will appear soft and “uncooked” however, as the cookie cools it will harden. The base of the cookie should be golden brown.
Why are your products a little more expensive than regular products?
Even though Grumpy Bums looks likes other bake mixes that you’ll find in a store, we are offering a far better health alternative! Making Grumpy Bums products with wholegrains and real fruit, means working with more expensive ingredients.
Why don’t Grumpy Bums add natural sweeteners or sugar substitutes to sweeten the products?
Many sugar-free or ‘no sugar added’ brands use sugar substitutes, artificial or natural sweeteners or even fruit juice concentrates to sweeten foods for kids. We use real ingredients that actually give a sweet flavour, like our Freeze-dried fruits.

Can I feed Grumpy Bums to my baby?
Absolutely! Our products have been designed for babies 12 months and older.
Can Grumpy Bums go into school lunchboxes?
Absolutely! Our products were designed for this. We created yummy treats for kids without the added sugars, so you don’t have to feel guilty about. We also don’t use any nuts, so these are in line with Schools “nut free” requirements.
Where can I purchase Grumpy Bums?
At present, our products can only be purchased on our website.
Do you accept returns?
Requests for refunds, returns and exchanges must be made to Grumpy Bums within 7 days of the purchase date. Refunds will only be credited to the credit card of the purchaser. Can I change or cancel my order once I've placed it?
If you would like to change your order or notice a mistake, please email us at: info@grumpybums.com.au. Unfortunately, once the order has been shipped, we can’t add or remove items from it.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we only ship in Australia.
When will my products arrive?
All orders are despatched from Sydney NSW usually within 1-2 business days after your order is placed.
